CAMPAIGN GOALS
THE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE HAS ESTABLISHED A GOAL OF $400,000.
We have secured more than half of the total goal.
Started in 2025, this three year campaign seeks conclusion by December, 2027. Your contribution, can be one time, or span the remaining term. Every contribution, large or small, is a gift towards securing the tower’s future.
Since 1853, the tower of St. Stephen’s has stood as a proud sentinel over Mullica Hills’ Main Street: a symbol of the town’s history and heritage. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this iconic tower has been more than a landmark: its clock faithfully kept time and its bell rang on the hour, every hour, for generations.
The bell has been silenced for the first time in a century due to the need for future restoration. Today, the tower faces critical structural repairs that threaten its long-term stability, and with it, the community tradition of hearing its chimes mark the hours for neighbors, visitors and local businesses.
